Conte Paving works out of 801 8th Ave W, Palmetto, FL 34221. We take residential drives, commercial lots, mill-and-overlays, striping, curb, ramps, and the excavation that makes those surfaces last. We are not a regional company sending a subcontractor you have never met.
Florida pavement has its own failure modes. Heat oxidizes a thin mat. Afternoon storms find every birdbath. Salt air and irrigation chew at edges that were never restrained. We build for that, not for a climate we do not have.
Honest estimates. No hidden line items. If the base is worse than it looked from the street, we stop and call before we keep going.
How we run a job
Show up. Compact. Stand behind it.
Commercial downtime costs money. We work efficiently without skipping the steps that decide whether pavement lasts — subgrade, thickness, joints, and drainage. Residential work gets the same sequence, just a smaller footprint.
Three things we will not skip
The base
Good pavement starts with what is underneath it. If the subgrade pumps, we undercut. We do not pave over a sponge.
The water
Every lot we leave should drain. Standing water after a storm is a grading problem we still own.
The number
The estimate you sign is the estimate we work from. Changes get a conversation, not a surprise invoice.
